這是微軟新推出的互動式網頁技術, 它的 slogan 是 "Light Up the Web",
從它的命名來看, 有迎戰 Flash 的味道, 銀光 vs. 閃光.
支援 IE, Firefox, Safari, 目前 Opera 不支援.
到 Silverlight Gallery 可以看到一些 Silverlight 的應用範例.
