MadEdit 是個很棒的編輯器, 支援 Hex 模式及 Unicode, 且同時有 Win32 及 Linux 版.

mrxvt 是 TAB 版的 rxvt, 速度很快.
要中文支援在 configure 時要加 --enable-cjk, 可惜目前還不支援 UTF-8
若有用 gcin 的人, 可使用 patch 過的 mrxvt

Foxit Reader 是個小巧免費的 PDF reader, 只要一個檔案, 綠色軟體 (1.3 版 2.58MB)
Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.7 版裝完後要 60MB, 又慢又肥.
該公司另一套 Foxit PDF Editor 也很讚, 用來編輯 PDF 檔.
比 Adobe Acrobat Professional 好用多了.

Windows XP/2003 下的 System Volume Information 資料夾, 是「系統還原」工具用來儲存其資訊與還原點的地方.
電腦的每一個磁碟分割上都有一個 [System Volume Information] 資料夾.
當發現磁碟的已使用空間和檔案全選的大小有很大差距時, 很可能就是 System Volume Information 所造成.
在預設的狀況下, 查看 System Volume Information 的大小都是 0 (因為沒有權限),
參考 如何存取 System Volume Information 資料夾 打開權限.
可以用 Unlocker 強制刪除 System Volume Information 裡面的東西(無法完刪除, 但是可以清除大部分的檔案), 我試過並不會有什麼問題.
